DESCRIPTION:This foray critically examines the integration of artificial in
 telligence (AI) tools in geography education\, with a specific focus on re
 mote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). It explores how AI-
 driven platforms influence cognitive offloading processes\, analytical rea
 soning\, and the development of critical thinking competencies. Particular
  attention is given to field-based geospatial data acquisition using smart
 phones\, small civil aerial drones (UAVs)\, and underwater remotely operat
